#1 The Golden Pear - Floral Designs
Kathleen Farmer made an excellent impression on me. Not only did her company name incorporate part of my theme (hopefully pears and grapes). But she had out-of-the-box designs, such as square wreaths with green hydrangeas (such as those in the bouquet right). She had tall vases filled with fruit, which I would do pears. She also had small round moss wreaths tied with a green ribbon to the backs of chairs. That would be a great way to dress up the ceremony chairs.
#2 Red Pearl Designs - Wedding Invitations
Megan Ward was also a vendor that made me feel that excellence and perfection can be obtained. I won't type much about the designs. I'll let her website speak for itself. Also check out her blog. Absolutely beautiful work!
#3 Haute Cakes & Confections - Wedding Cake
Haute Cakes had a full array of cakes on display that were absolutely gorgeous. They did have a pear cake, but more of a basket style weave. Absolutely gorgeous detail and might be a great contender.
#4 Willamette Valley Vineyards - Ceremony & Reception Site
On one hand, I'm very upset the site doesn't have great pictures of the site. But I pulled as many as I could. Rental space is cheaper but food is more expensive. But how can you beat Willamette Valley? They have the most beautiful and luxurious location. I will take more pictures when Tony and I go on a walk through, hopefully this week.
Hey sweetie So I really wish I was near you so I could be a part in all of this It looks like so much fun!!! But since I can’t I guess I will just have to keep reading about it and tell you my opinions on here. So here it goes but first off what are your colors any ways because it’s kind of hard to picture some of this stuff without knowing your color scheme. But anyways just text me later!!! So I love the bouquet its really really pretty. But when you say hopefully pears and grapes you don’t mean in your bouquet right?? You mean in like your center pieces right!!!! Cause in the center pieces I think that would be adorable
ReplyDeleteOkay so on to the save the dates and wedding invitations that place looks awesome. But just so I’m not confused would it be the ones in the pictures to the right?? Because I went to the website but that only does so much when trying to figure out which one you chose because there are like a billion of them… but if it is the ones to the right I like them they are cute.
The cakes!!!!!! I love cake. Haha so the first one is alright not one I would chose but maybe when it’s the colors of your wedding it will look better but what I do like about that one is the bow at the bottom with the pink layer but the rest is just kind of so so (sorry if you really liked that one). The second one is my favorite I love the roses all over it and how you and tony can put your guys initials on it because that’s just two cute!!! Okay so the last one I really just… okay it’s cute but I like the top two a lot better. (haha so I’m trying to do my best at helping give my opinion though this sorry if it’s too much )
Willamette Valley: OMG I love this place way better than the other 2 locations!!! It’s gorgeous I think that’s all I can really say about that. But the question is what is your budget and does it fit into that. Cause if it is I think you should choose here cause you and tony would have the most beautiful pictures ever cause this place looks awesome!!!
Okay love I will call you maybe this weekend or next week depends on how much time I have school is starting to get crazy but at least I’m learning to make to do list and I have found I really like to cross things off of my list so I’m like awesome at finishing them early hehe so I probably will have time to call!!
